110 ton - 2,590 Shop Drawings

Beaufield completed hand over of the final IFC drawing package for Greensborough's new technical college, Banyule Nillimbuk, this month.

Running to a very tight schedule, with progressive issuing of shop drawings to maintain site critical path, the workshop and site were one step behind the detailing every step of the way.

Built stilted on a sloping site with a ground floor steel level and roof over:

Cranked rafters with box gutter support system throughout the roof:

Two external access stairs, one continues up and over the roof:

In all, an interesting project to a tight schedule with excellent feedback from the site erection team as to the quality of detailing and the relative ease of install for a what is a reasonably complicated building.
